My Services

I offer short-term and long-term individual psychotherapy, depending on the needs and interests of my clients. I balance listening carefully with asking questions and offering ideas, integrating psychodynamic psychotherapy that builds insight and supports self-awareness with techniques that are goal-oriented and strengths-focused. I also offer several structured treatments that specifically address PTSD and insomnia.

FAQs

How do we get started?

I typically recommend starting with a brief phone conversation (at no cost) so that I may learn a little about you and so that you may ask me any initial questions.  Next I suggest we begin with 1-3 consultation sessions so that we may explore your concerns in greater detail and get a sense of whether we have a good fit working together. Once we've completed the consultation, we'll meet at the same time each week for therapy.

Will we meet online or in-person?

I am currently comfortable offering sessions online and in-person. I respect your preference for what works best for your life in accessing therapeutic support.

How long are sessions?

Sessions are around 50 minutes in length.

What is your fee?

My fee for individual psychotherapy sessions is $200.

Do you accept insurance?

I am considered in-network with  BlueCross BlueShield (PPO) and have limited availability for new clients with this insurance. For individuals with other insurance plans, I am considered an out-of-network provider. If you can access out-of-network benefits, I can provide you with a monthly receipt which you can then submit for reimbursement. Once your deductible has been paid, your out-of-network benefits cover part of my fee. Depending on your plan, you may also be able to use benefits through a flexible medical spending account to cover psychotherapy expenses.
